Very many thanks to Cat Humphries for judging our fifth projected competition  of the season, critiquing all of the images with helpful comments and scoring accordingly.

The Beginners’ section was won by Steven Hall with “The Berkeley at Mission Bay” and Steven also scored 19 for “Kaiser Wilheim Church”.

In the Open section Dave Martin won with “Seal Pup on Beach” and he also scored 20s for “By the Waters Edge” and “Cyclamen Buds and Ladybird”;  20s went to Julia Wainwright’s  “Bighorn Sheep Cold Breath” and “Strutting Bald Eagle”, Alan Colegrave’s “Road to Nordkapp” and “On Skogafoss” and Avril Candler’s “Boat-tailed Grackle Preening on the Pier”.  Ron Churchill scored 19 with “I’m Not Sure”.  Cat gave a further 15 images 18s and these along with the other high scoring images can be seen on our Flickr page and competition albums.
