23rd February: North West Federation Inter-Club Final

What a tense and exciting end to the 2018/19 Print and Projected inter-club competition between Field End and Harrow! We won the Club Trophy by just one and a half points. In the projected contest, judged by Darren Pullman AFIAP, Harrow had a clear margin of eleven points; Field End won the print competition which was judged by Paul Radden DPAGB EFIAP/b PSA2 but with only a 9 and a half point advantage couldn’t quite bridge the gap. Commiserations to Field End and we wish them every success (well nearly every success!) for next year.

In the Individual Starred and Nominated Projected competition, Best Projected Trophy went to Sea Sand and Shadows by John Clare, with Highly Commended certificates for The Changing of the Guard by John Humphrey and Spring Pasque Flower by Harrow’s Dave Martin.

The Print Trophy was won by David Harris for Elemental Storm and Highly Commended certificates went to Rat Catcher by Nigel Cox and Beyond the Veil by Neetha Atukorale.

Many thanks to Amersham for hosting the afternoon, to the hard working organisers and helpers and of course to both judges who gave entertaining and informative commentaries.
