Many thanks to Alan for an interesting and entertaining evening showing us, through short films and audio visuals, how is vast experience as Film Producer, TV Producer , Director and programme maker influences his work.
His past Audio Visual successes “Gentle Protest” (CACC Winner) and “An English Event”(CACC HC) were particularly relevant examples – each showing the importance of a good story, good photography, and story line or subject matter being ‘something different’.
Alan’s talk brought Audio Visual making alive and is certainly a useful way to think about photography in terms of ‘projects’ which would make challenges such as ‘panels’ and ‘sets’ much easier.
