Many thanks to Gerald Kitiyakara for judging the first round match which comprises seven prints from each of the competing clubs: Ealing & Hampshire House, Field End, Northolt, Pinner, Watford, XRR and Harrow.  Gerald gave us a solid, competent and considered commentary on all the prints without giving any hints along the way of his chosen twenty which go through to the final.  Happily for all the clubs, he chose at least one print from each (and in some cases almost a full house!).  Our visitors and members had a thoroughly enjoyable evening and we look forward to an exciting final in September.
