Judged by Ron Tear MPAGB ARPS PSA3 BPE3 whose extensive knowledge of the natural world made for a thoroughly enjoyable and informative evening.

The Print Trophy was won by Julia Wainwright with “Coyote in the Snow”, Judith Gimber came second with “Macaques Grooming” and Avril Candler third with “Female Anna’s Hummingbird”.  Julia’s “Fishing Bald Eagle” was highly commended as were Alice Kass’ “Fatsia Japonica”, Frank Woods’ “Yew Tree Ghosts” and Ron Churchill’s “Marble White Head On”.

It was definitely Julia’s night as she won the Projected Trophy with “Cheetah Siblings Play Fighting” and third place with “Black-Backed Jackal with her Pup”.  John Draper’s “Mara” was second;  Ron Tear gave three images ‘highly commended’ and these were “Bellowing” by John Draper, “Feathers” by Ron Churchill and “Tying the Knot” by Judith Gimber.
