The culmination of our monthly competitions was judged last night by Jeff Lawrence CPAGB who gave his considered critique and comments on each of the prints and projected images.

Congratulations go to Alan Colegrave who was awarded our Print of the Year Trophy for his “Road to North Cape – Norway”.  Judith Gimber’s “Drying the Fish” was in second place and Julia Wainwright’s “Osprey with Catch” third.  Trevor Alexander’s “Gas Holders Kings Cross”,  Ron Churchill’s “King and Queen”, John Draper’s “Reggie” and Peter Keeble’s “Cricket Heaven” were all highly commended.

The Projected Image of the Year Trophy went to John Draper for “Team Work” – congratulations John.  Dave Martin’s “Sundown at Hill Farm” was second and Avril Candler’s “Giraffe in Autumn” third.  “Brighton Old West Pier” by Dave, “Head On Marbled White” by Ron, Mara by John and “Strutting Bald Eagle” by Julia were highly commended.

We look forward now to September and the start of the 2018/19 monthly competition season.
