19th February: Annual Landscape Print and Projected

Last night’s competition was judged by Terry Coffey.

The Print Trophy went to Alan Colegrave for his dramatic “Beyond 71 Degrees North Norway”. Dave Martin’s “Sunrise at Hill Farm” was second with Julia Wainwright’s “Yellowstone in Winter” third. Terry gave four prints Highly Commended and these were John Draper’s “Woodland”, Judith Gimber’s “Wreck of Demetrios”, Ron Churchill’s “The Borderlands” and “Bignor Hill” by Peter Polkinghorne.

The Projected Trophy was won by Alan Graham for his impactful “Threatening Prairie Evening”; Dave Martin’s “Fields 3” was second and Peter Polkinghorne’s “Rhossili Grey” third placed. Highly Commended images were “Woolacombe Beach” by Dave Martin, “Fresh Water Bay” by John Draper, “Penguins, Ice and Guano” by Alan Colegrave, “South Downs Way” by Peter Polkinghorne and “Early Morning Sidmouth Bay” by Avril Candler.
