We were treated to an evening of audio visual delights by Les and fellow Pinner member, John Dobson.

Les took us to Cape Town the ‘Rainbow City’, Kruger Park inhabitants, different Antelope species,  Vietnam showing us the people’s way of life along the Mecon river; Chicago and on to Western Australia;  Les also included two intriguing AVs on ‘Feathers’ and ‘Tree Bark’ – all very informative and entertaining.  Interspersed with Les’ were three of John’s – who uses time-lapse and video to great effect.  With John we travelled to London, Scotland and the West Country.

And if all that wasn’t enough food for thought, we even had a short demonstration of how to go about putting an AV together.

The combination of subject matter, travelogues of wonderful places, people and animals photographed well made for a great evening so very many thanks Les and John – much appreciated.
