Federation of NW London (NWFed) Photographic Societies Competition

Annual print and projected digital image (PDI) knockout competitions run between the 12 Clubs of the Federation of North-West London Photographic Societies.

Format of Competition

First Round: The 12 clubs are divided into groups by means of a draw and each club submits 16 prints and 16 PDIs over 3 matches.  Each club in each group hosts a home match in which all the clubs of that group compete. All 1st round competitions must be completed before the end of December. Stars are awarded to 2 prints and 2 PDIs and will be judged in the final (best print/projected) regardless of club achievement. Stars are also counted in the event of a tie.

Semi-Finals: The clubs gaining the greatest number of marks over the three competitions go forward to the semi-finals that take place in January. Each club submits 9 prints and 9 PDIs.

Finals: The final to decide a club and individual champions takes place by March 31st..

How to Enter

Entry is at Club Level and our entries are selected from a pool of club images previously chosen by the Selection Committee.
